A resident of Staten Island most commonly seen wearing velour sweatsuits and/or black north face jackets. Commonly seen wandering around the Staten Island Mall. It can be difficult to distinguish one Stat Rat from another, as they all have the same hair cut/style.

Someone who loves looking at statistics and their data, regardless how relevant those statistics and data are. Often associated with sport.
Billy Beane in the early '90s was considered a stat rat amongst his MLB GM peers for his use of SABERmetrics.

Someone who is addicted to obtaining money and building wealth. A money addict and fanatic. Breadheads often work more than one full-time job, and some even participate in illicit activities to "obtain the bread".
A breadhead is like a crackhead, but for money instead of crack.
