The acceptance rate for the 2008 academic year was 27%. The school is part of the term, "St. Grotlessex" wich refers to the elite boarding schools of Groton, St. Paul's, Middlesex, St. Georges, and of course, St. Mark's. St. Mark's shares a traditional rivalry with the Groton School which has lasted for over 100 years. As an elite american prep, St. Mark's sends it's students to many of the most prestigious colleges in the United States, such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Williams, MIT, and many others.

Well, I'm not going to lie, it's tough, but the work load isn't too bad after coming from St. Mark's School of Texas. Hours of homework from my AP classes and pulling all-nighters before my AP English papers were due presented me a much more tedious and mentally challenging task than college work.
