Slippery olympics

A nautical saying originating in the north east to describe various inaccuracies in mispronunciation. A colloquialism also prevalent in Cornwall and south east England, often used as slang by subtitling professionals.
The intern wrote the subtitles, there’s some minor mistakes in his work and some are so bad they should gain entry to the slippery olympics.
