Single Season 

During the school months, begins August and ends in June. This season is the opposite of cuffing season but it's where people don't want to get into a relationship and mostly stays on focus with bettering themselves in school, gym, etc.

Jennifer: Want me to hook you up with anybody form our school?
Sydney: No thanks it's single season

It's when broke dudes start hitting single mothers inboxes, with hopes of capitalizing on large income tax refunds.

My friend is single most of the year except when she gets her tax refund. I smile and say it's single mom season again.
