Silent Professional

respected "Quiet Professional." An egotistical, self-absorbed Warrant Officer who secures a higher-level staff position through golf-buddy nepotism, yet lacks the functional competency to logic his way out of a paper bag.
Key behaviors include: constructing elaborate bureaucratic roadblocks to simulate self-importance, aggressively blasting self-appointed titles, issuing unsolicited "guidance" composed entirely of big words and "uhms," and defaulting to absolute silence when directly challenged with actual facts or regulations.
Note: In the operational environment, this catastrophic system-failure silence is universally interpreted by the competent staff as legally binding consent.
When 2ID asked for the regulatory source behind his latest email, he realized citing his morning bowel movement wasn't a valid substitute for actual technical doctrine. Terrified of exposing his sheer incompetence, he went full "Silent Professional" and imposed absolute silence.

Surf Dracula Syndrome

A phenomenon in film/television series, most notably streaming series, where the main premise is drawn out to such a point that it takes an entire season or more to get the parts of the series the audience is actually interested in seeing.

For example, if a series is titled "Surf Dracula," a majority of viewers would tune in expecting to see Dracula surfing by the first or second episode. However, the entire first season would instead be tedious padding and backstory before finally ending with Dracula surfing in the last five minutes of the season finale.
I watched "Smallville" on Netflix the other day. Dude, it was ten seasons of filler before he finally flew! Major Surf Dracula Syndrome!
