A universal term for any object that has been dislodged from your recollection by a brain fart. Shalengo is interchangeable with nearly every other word that you happen to have forgotten. Taken from the desert dwelling dialect of the English language used primarily by sunbaked individuals who have been out there for too long.
My daughter started stuttering as she tried to find the word that went with "water" in a story she was telling me about due to a massive brain fart she was experiencing which caused her to spit out "Shalengo" when she couldn't think of "thingy" or "You know that thingamajob" as she couldn't remember that her water had been in a bottle.
