Believing in something just enough to act on it, even though you don’t fully buy into it. Not superstitious… but semi.

I’m not superstitious, but I’m a little semistitious—I still won’t walk under a ladder just in case.

CORRECT: I left some sementitious material in your mom's birth canal last night.

INCORRECT: I can't tell if that is drywall or plaster so let's just call it sementitious material.
