Web resources that are REST-compliant can be accessed and changed by using a standard set of HTTP verbs, such as GET, PUT, and POST.

Someone, typically a computer programmer, who is tightly anal about how other people grammatically use the term in everyday conversation can also be referred to as a "restafarian".

(You): Damn. I ain't PUT-ing any more time into writing this personal love ad shit.
Miguel: That's not a proper PUT. You can't PUT to an undefined resource.
