Realwissenschaft
"Real" + "Wissenschaft" (science). Science as it is practiced, not as it is romanticized. Realwissenschaft tears away the myth of the noble, disinterested pursuit of truth and reveals a battleground of funding, ego, and ideological conformity. Truth is what gets published; publishing is what gets grants; grants come from governments and corporations with agendas. Peer review is often a gatekeeping cartel. Data is tortured until it confesses the funder’s desired outcome. Realwissenschaft doesn’t say science is worthless—it says science is a human power structure, and the "truth" it delivers is whatever the most powerful lab directors and funding agencies decide it is.
Example:
A: "Three studies say sugar is fine, funded by the soda industry. One says it’s poison, and the lab was defunded."
B: "Realwissenschaft. The scientific method is pure; the economic method that feeds it is dirtier than a sewer."
