1. phrase used when someone says something relatable about a struggle
2. also used to describe a time when somebody said something deep or "real"
3. Could be used as "on that real shit" to describe the authenticity of a person's actions
1. "Man, the economy sucks."

A phrase usually used to signify a very serious comment.
Lets say that you're standing in the hallway joking with your friends when u realize ur late for class u would say something like: Yall niggaz be trippin, but on some real shit... I gotta go cause I'm about to be late.
