Professional Friend Hopper

Someone who doesn't want any of the commitments of friendship but wants to reap all the rewards that come with having that or those friends. They're never there when you need them but never have a problem asking you for things or help. They're in the "friendship" for all the wrong reasons.
"Have you ever noticed how none of their friends remain friends for very long? Like they may know a lot of people and talk to a lot of people but they never hang out anymore?"
Only professional friend hoppers jump from group to group or person to person like that.

cold in my professions, warm in my friendships

a letter that alexander hamilton wrote to john laurens in april 1779. the ultimate lams letter (laurens x hamilton)

hamilton’s son later found this letter and had to censor parts of it because it was so inappropriate
person 1: omg lams is so cute
person 2: have you seen The Letter?
person 1: what no?
person 2: hamilton wrote a letter to laurens and its like the ultimate lams proof
person 1: what does it say?
person 2: “cold in my professions, warm in my friendships, i wish, my dear laurens, that it may be possible, through action rather than words, to convince you that i love you.” and then later it says “you should not have taken advantage of my sensibilities to steal into my affections without my consent.”
person 1: omg so they actually did love each other?
person 2: yup.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
