An individual browsing a video-based pornography site who constantly finds more interesting videos among the thumbnails at the bottom of the page. This often promotes a distraction from watching the initial video, and, subsequently, prevents the individual from getting after him or herself as originally intended.

The porn chaser nervously switched from "Saggy Sluts" to "Hardcore Grandmas" to "Debbie does the lower 40," all before his parents came home.

To take something small, that doesn't quite qualify as a theft. Probably from the Danish "skæv" or the Dutch "scheef", both of which are pronounced similarly, meaning "askew, or not quite right'. To change an item's ownership without permission, but only something small and of little worth.
