Small town in Louisiana, about 10 miles south of Baton Rouge. Home to the once largest freshwater locks in the world. Friendly citizens, mostly French/Cajun descendants live there.
Boy #1: Plaquemine once held the largest freshwater locks in the world. Check it out.
boy #2: Cha dude! Road trip!

Small city 15 miles south of Baton Rouge. It is a boring place where every graduating high school senior can't wait to leave. Every citizen is nozy and in each others business. The majority of the city and surrounding areas are owned by the Wilbert and Gay families.
Now that you graduated high school John, what do you want to do with your life?
The first thing is to get out of this crappy place known as Plaquemine.
