Phartist

Portmanteau of "phony" and "artist" referring to a person who claims his or her creation(s) is art despite having no artistic value. Phartists usually don't make a serious attempt to conceal their lack of artistic ability, since the point is attention rather than expression.

Jack shaved his cat and called it art, but we all know he is just trying to get attention. He is such a phartist.

Partist

A Partist is someone who doesn’t consider themselves an Artist in a traditional sense.

To putz, piddle, or podder is defined as happily wasting time on meaningless Things. I contend anytime you are creating happily can never be meaningless nor a wasted time.

If you are doing it correctly you are a Partist.
