Persephane 

A wonderful name based of the goddess Persephone. It’s often misspelled and is uncommon but it’s truly beautiful, just like those named it. Persephane is the kind of person that’s over the top and always makes you laugh but when you need her she is there willing to help you. There’s times shes frustrating, there’s times shes sad but in the end she’s going to be your best friend. From her gorgeous hair and warm eyes she is amazing. So to all the Persephanes that have never seen something dedicated to them or haven’t found their name on a keychain at the gas station. Felt the pain of l having had it misspelled or wrongly corrected, I’ve written this definition in hopes that one night you look up your name and know it’s lovely.

Persephone

1. Goddess of Spring and Underworld

2. Persephone was the beautiful greek goddess who was the daughter of Zeus and Demeter (Goddess of the Harvest). She was picking flowers one day when Hades, god of the Underworld, saw her and fell instantly in love with her. He then abducted her and took her to the Underworld with him (other interpretations say he raped her, but I don't think so). She was clearly not happy there since she missed her mother and wanted to go back home. He agreed to this and tricked her into eating a pomegranate. She ate six seeds of the pomegranate which bounded her to the Underworld for six months (fall and winter) and the other six months she spent with her mother (spring and summer). She later became Hades' wife which gave her the title of Queen/Goddess of the Underworld.

(This is only one of the Hades and Persephone interpretations)

Persephone

Persephone is a lovely girl with a big heart. She's shy at first but once you get to know her, you'll end up loving her. She is drop dead gorgeous and every guy would gawk at her. Only one man could steal her heart and make her his. She's a powerful and vibrant girl, almost like goddess.

Guy 1: Wow...she's so beautiful. Do you think she would ever go for a guy like me?
Guy 2: Keep dreaming, that's Persephone. Everyone want her to fall for them.

Persephone is one of a kind. When you first see her your eyes will not want to look away. She has a smile of an angel and her personality is so perfect, it feels like it’s unreal. She has a body of a goddess. She’s got cake and cute face. All the guys fight for her, but only one can steal all the attention. Once you get her, never let go. She’s not like any other girl. She makes you feel the butterflies and if you ever to get call a Persephone yours, you’re one lucky guy. Never break her heart, because in the end. You’ll be the one crying. Persephone

A Persephone is that one girl that walks into the room and makes everyone stop and stare at her. She's absolutely stunning and has the best smile. Everyone would die to be friends with her. She'll always be there for you. Even when you think you're not worthy of her time. She can change your mood so fast, sometimes it's crazy. She's made life so much better for me. My besties name is Persephone. It's rare for her to say she loves you, but when she says it to you. Just know you're lucky. She's very sensitive though. She cares too much and when she loves the wrong person, she hurts. A lot. Just remeber to keep her happy and she'll do the same for you.
