Pastizz

A traditional Maltese snack which are filled with either a ricotta or pea (or chicken but those are shit) filling.
The best ones are found at Serkin.

Conversely, the word 'pastizz' also refers to a woman's vagina, which they closely resemble. The word in this context can be commonly heard in the streets of Hamrun, where one can find old, dusty ones at a cheap price.

A pastizz is the only pastizz I'll ever eat.

The best local Maltese food. It is flaky pastry filled with either cheese, peas, chicken or sardines which is baked to perfection. Typically found in corner stores and sold for 50 cents each. Can also be used as a derogatory term 'Kemm int pastizz' which translates to 'You do not have courage'. Pastizzi are also the ultimate symbol of femininity.
