Pamela Constant

The constant by which any number used in a sentence must be divided in order to be realistic or accurate. The exact level of the constant depends on the speaker's tendency to exaggerate.
"I know Pamela said that she took 550 shots of tequila last night, but when you divide by the Pamela constant she really only had 2."
