Overcompenstraighting

When a closeted gay person tries too hard to assert him or herself as straight. This ends up causing unnecessary suspicion about his or her sexuality.

Person 1: Hey, why has Rico mentioned his long distance girlfriend (who I never met) four times in the last fifteen minutes?
Person 2: Maybe he doesn't really have or even want a girlfriend. He's totally overcompenstraighting.
