Oundverrated
Oundverrated (adj.) (OWND-ver-rated)
A person, especially a wrestler, performer, athlete, or entertainer, who is widely recognized as talented and respected by fans, yet never receives the level of opportunities, spotlight, championships, or status that many believe they deserve.
Unlike being underrated, their talent is already acknowledged. Unlike being overrated, they are not receiving excessive praise or opportunities. Instead, they exist in the frustrating middle ground where everyone knows they're good, but they are still overlooked for the biggest roles.
