Many centuries have gone by since the tale of Osasuyi began. To learn it all, one must look elsewhere, but inscribed here one will find a more concise telling of the relevant events.

Osasuyi's story begins in the hills behind a lost, ancient city, the name of which has not been uttered by mortal men for a very long time. He was born to a beautiful exiled princess, who had become pregnant without a husband and thereafter cast out by her father. The seed was that of the great dragon Axymon, yet none would hear her out, believing her to be mad, promiscuous, and unfit for her position within the court. She carried Osasuyi within her for many many years, as is customary for dragons. When she eventually gave birth, a bright golden light shone out, and when it finally dimmed, a perfect, fully-formed man had emerged from within her.

He has lived for a great number of years, wandering empty lands, meeting with nomadic peoples. Over time he has impacted the lives of many with his grace, wisdom and strength of will. In recent times, he has taken up a humble position within the modern society of Britain, where he has concealed his identity and refrains at all times from using his magical abilities.

It has been prophesied that there shall come a time where he will be called upon; a time of dire need, a time of catastrophe, a time where the fate of all may rest in his hands. Most who know of him still postulate that he is boding his time and gathering his strength until this time comes.
Have you heard of the legendary Osasuyi?

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
