Oof and Run

When one commits a "hit and run" but ends up exposing themselves with evidence left behind or hurting themselves by doing something crazy or erratic and ends up running away.
Example 1:
Kelly: Hey Haley! Did you see the hit and run on the news last night?
Haley: Yeah, turned out to be an oof and run when he left his license plate behind.

Example 2:
Emery: I am going to tell Serena I like her.
Charlene: You know that could lead to a big oof and run if she doesn't like you back.
