Novembeard 

A Month long effort during November to grow out a beard through not shaving for the duration of the 30 days. It is almost exclusively undertaken by males. It is often undertaken by a clique or a few members of a friend group, but rarely by oneself. It holds large prominence on college campuses and amongst the older grades in high-school. Frequency and popularity of effort wanes in the ages above 22.

Look for it occurring among athletes, "ironic" kids, any person wishing to prove his masculinity, or those in pursuit of an easy conversation starter. Also be aware of scenesters, as they will invariably be pursuing this, and not let you forget it.

Impressionable Youth #1: "Hey, Why does Cool Elliot have all that patchy looking hair on his face? It look like shit."

Impressionable Youth #2: "Oh Man, its Novembeard!"

During the autumnal season, the first month of unimpeded facial hair growth. To be customarily followed by Decembeard and concluding with shaving the beard into a desired mustache during the month of Manuary.

My neck is getting scratchy due to early Novembeard growth, but it'll all pay off come Manuary.

During the month of november a man can participate in Novembeard, all a man has to do is not shave for the month of november. Why? why not.

Novembeard 

An expansion from Movember where traditionally people grow a very dashing flavour savour on their top lip over the month of November. Rules state that you must start clean shaven from the first of the month, and that your hair cannot join at the chin or sideburns. Novembeard is an adaptation where the aim is to grow the best beard over a month.
The whole point to all this is to raise awareness of prostate cancer in men, as well as being a bit of fun.

Manly man 1: you look like a member of the village people mate
Manly man 2: its for novembeard / movember
Manly man 1: huh?
Manly man 2: its to raise awareness about prostate cancer (job done)

Novembeard 

The bodily hair resulting from not shaving for the entire month of November.

Often mistaken as being the act of creating the unruly hair, but it is in fact the resulting entity caused by participation in No Shave November, which involves the act of creating a Novembeard.

"I bet I can grow a larger Novembeard than you!"

"Now that November is over, it's about time I shaved my Novembeard."
