When one is volunteered by another to take part in something.

Nolunteer 

Someone who does a task even though they did not want to. From the latin nolo (not want, be unwilling). The opposite of a volunteer.

roots in the latin nolo - to not want to, as opposed to the word volunteer, which originates from volo - to want to.

volunteer work 

Work done by choice & is unpaid but the rewards are personal satisfaction & knowing you made a difference.
My Grandma did Lots of volunteer work, into the 1000's of hours, at schools, the DMV, etc.

volunteer high school 

shitty little hell hole filled with incestuous skoal dipping, cigarette smoking (especially in the bathrooms), pregnant teens who fight each other constantly. the worst and only high school in church hEll, Tennessee. Also known (due to the abundance of gay boys) as Volun-Queer.
He has a "Roll Coal, Dip SKoal" sticker on the back of his pickup truck? He must go to Volunteer High School.

volunteer highway patrol 

A motorist who drives in the fast lane at the same speed as the drivers in the slow lanes, forcing all traffic to slow to what the obstructing driver considers to be a safe speed.
I got pinned down by the Volunteer Highway Patrol for about 10 miles before I could get around him.
