Noun;(nēt-flīks-ösaurus); A person/creature who displays habits of extreme Netflix bingeing sessions lasting generally more than 10 hours, is primarily nocturnal, and knows all of the best shows available on Netflix.

Primary foods: Popcorn, Icecream, Bones, chicken wings

Netflixcore

AKA Bingecore, Streamingcore, Corpo Slop Core

A disparaging term used to refer to a style of cinematography that has been propagated by big fat, damn cats in corporate offices which has been popularized in films and shows of the 2020s decade, especially in Hollywood.

Hallmarks of this style include, but are not limited to:
-Dull, desaturated colors everywhere for "realism" (if not, teal and orange combos would do)
-Characters always explaining plot points to the point of abusing your intelligence (the constant breaking of the "show-don't-tell" rule)
-Formulaic bull****, more likely to be dictated by 'bots or corpo execs

Mostly applies to "second-screen" content, which assumes you're on your phone or doing something else.

"Oh my God, Susan, last night I binged 'That Regency Show'. It was so Netflixcore, it put me to bed STAT!"
