Nejihina

The couple formed of Hyuga Neji and Hyuga Hinata from the show "Naruto", quite popular, especially in Japan.

It has many fans, probably because there is a lot of tension between them, they don't really get along and that makes the pair really interesting.

It wouldn't be a surprise if the couple becomes canon, because, apparently, all members of the Hyuga clan have the byakugan ( males and females) and that means...
Yes. Arranged marriages between family members. They have to maintain the bloodline.
Ah, Nejihina, sweet, forbidden love.

Nejihina

A fandom pairing from the manga, Naruto, involving Neji Hyuuga and Hinata Hyuuga of the ... Yep you guessed it.. Hyuuga Clan.

This pairing is actually one of the most popular in Japan (Following NaruSasu and NaruSaku) where as in the US its not so much due to western ideas on endogomist (or incestual) marriages.

Hinata and Neji are blood related and are considered to be close cousins. Some may argue they are too close due to their parents being twins. This, however, does not change the relationship between these two being cousins. In other words they wouldn't be labeled "half-siblings" just because their fathers are twins. The genetic make up (DNA) even among identical twins are still slightly different.

Warped ideas about genetics from western thinkers tend to work against this pairing alot. But very devoted fans never pay mind to this and continue loving this pairing regardless.

This pairing could be possibly canon due to their clan's upbringing but if it actually does it would only be slightly mentioned at the end of the manga (unless Kishimoto feels like being a Hyuuga fan again)...since this manga is not really about them as main characters anyway.
Nejihina Fan: Oh, I love Nejihina so much. It has so much depth and forbidden love is always interesting to read in a manga. I hope Kishimoto makes it canon.

Western thinking Person: EWW ...RNT DEY CUZINS??? THEY GONA HAZ MUTANT BEBEZ!!! U R SIK!!!!! BLA BLA BLA.. IM A NOOBZ...YADAYADA

Nejihina Fan: Why, I don't think so. Actually there are lots of genetic theories that have been debunked by recent scientific research. And besides that, its just a manga/anime...its not even real...so the "babies" could still come out perfectly because its whatever the manga writer wants...If the clan decides for Hinata and Neji to marry it is possible...

Western thinking person: LALALA..UR DUM AND SIK...U SHULD GO N MARY UR CUZIN U SIKO! RAWRRZZ

Nejihina fan: *has left the western thinker to itself and went to create more Nejihina fanart and fanfics*

The Short way of saying "Neji x Hinata". A slightly popular couple (They're not an actual couple in the series)from the hit series "naruto" by masasashi kishimoto. Although there are many fans of this pairing, many detest it, seeing as in the manga, they are distant cousins. But many fans justify it but placing them in an AU.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
