Nassau County

The most expensive suburb in the United States. Located on Long Island, right outside New York City. A small home in a bad neighborhood will be about $250,000 minimum. Nicest areas are along the South shore or North shore. The closer you are to water, the better. Lots of rich jews. If you are moving to Long Island, consider any of these areas:
South Shore:
Massapequa, Seaford, Merrick, Bellmore, Wantagh, Woodmere, Hewlett, Franklin Square
North Shore:
Great Neck, Roslyn, Syosset, Brookville, Jericho

South shore has wayyyy more shopping though and nicer beaches. Jones Beach is in Wantagh (a really nice area). Live as close to the water as possible!

Nassau County

These little people of civilians of Nassau County make fun of Suffolk County for not having a 516 code (Suffolk County people don’t give a shit) if you go to Nassau County just stay away from Hempstead and maybe stay in like Long Beach or Glen Cove
John - Hey Bruce do you prefer Nassau or Suffolk
Bruce - Nassau County all the way man
John - Name one reason Nassau County is better than Suffolk County
Bruce - Uhhhhhhh, fine Suffolk County

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
