NRFU

An acronym used by the U.S. Census Bureau that stands for Nonresponse Follow Up. It's also a term used when someone double texts but doesn't want to sound clingy.

Guy 1: Dude, I just texted her twice in a row...she's going to think I'm needy
Guy 2: Nah dude, you just NRFU'd her, it's no biggie. The Census did it all the time in 2020!
