Nikhedonia

The joy of thinking about probable future success-.
Jeff: "Dude, I had a dream in which I worked so hard that I got all the money"

Bezos: "Good that Nikhedonia isn't supporting our hyper capitalistic system in such a way that people dream about future materialistic glory through hard work and labor which in our monopolistic society is just a myth upheld by the upper class trying to get the most out of their laborers."

Jeff: "what"

Bezos: "Down with the bourgeoisie!! Long live the society of the proletarians!!!"

nikhedonia

1. That feeling you get when you are certain your favorite sports team is going to win, or you are certain you are going to beat a level in a video game, etc.

2. When you're taking a huge dump and then you eat your poop so that your toilet stays clean.
Victoria felt a sense of nikhedonia when her dog was about to win best in show.

NIKHEDONIA

What do you get when you combine “Nike”—the Greek goddess of victory (and apparently, the patron saint of running shoes)—and “Hedone” the Greek word meaning “pleasure?” Nikhedonia, obviously.

This word means the feeling of excitement or elation that comes over you when you anticipate success.
For example, you’re playing a friendly game of Chess and suddenly realize the moves you need to make to checkmate your opponent. Or suppose you’re watching your favorite football team play a close game against their big rivals and at the end of the game you see they’re about to kick the winning field goal. That’s nikhedonia.
