Niggas With Attitude, the revolutionary gangsta rap group from the mid 80's who brought a new level of awareness of daily life in South Central Los Angeles. Famous for songs like "Straight Outta Compton", "Fuck The Police" and "Dopeman" to name a few. These songs described the things that happen in everyday life in South CentralLA. Members included Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and the late Eazy E to name a few. Their music was not only very good sounding but had a message about gangs and gang violence.

A West Coast gangsta rap group founded in the late eighties that carried over to the early nineties. Dr. Dre was in charge, DJ Yella was the DJ, and Ice Cube, MC Ren, and Eazy E did their thang. Their best album was "Straight Outta Compton". Their most famous songs include "Fuck Tha Police", "Straight Outta Compton", "Express Yourself", and "Alwayz Into Somethin'". NOT the inventors of gangsta rap, since Ice T and Compton's Most Wanted kind of beat them to that. Still, N.W.A. represents gangsta rap in its heyday. Some people think they're assholes because they don't have respect for no one. Other people think they kick ass for that same precise reason. I adhere to the latter opinion. Good group. RIP EAZY.

Nowwa days Ice Cube is in disney movies(did you know the longshots was directed by fred dirnst of limp bizkit?), dre is still making music, easy died of AIDS, Ren sucked so hes not doin much now, and yella is directing pornos
