Moon Space Station
A space station orbiting the Moon, serving as a gateway for lunar surface access, scientific research, and tourism. Unlike the ISS in low Earth orbit, a Moon space station would be in a low lunar orbit or a halo orbit around the Earth‑Moon Lagrange point. It would support lander staging, refueling, and crew transfer. For tourists, it offers spectacular views of the Moon’s surface and Earthrises, plus zero‑g activities. The station could be built incrementally, starting with a small habitat and expanding into a full‑service orbital facility.
Example: “The Moon space station’s cupola was always crowded. Tourists and astronauts alike gathered to watch landers descend toward the Sea of Tranquility.”
