Missouri State University

Missouri State University is the second-largest university in the state, with nearly 22,000 students. Its beautiful campus was founded in Springfield, Missouri in 1905.

The Missouri State University System also includes campuses in West Plains, MO, Mountain Grove, MO, and Dalian, China.

Missouri State is renown for its prestigious College of Business, which is one of the largest in the Midwest.

The MSU colors are maroon and white; their mascot is the Bear. Athletics are D-I, in the Missouri Valley Conference. MSU teams have made 48 NCAA championship appearances since 1982.

Men's basketball reached the NCAA tournament 6 times (Sweet Sixteen in 1999, with the legendary Coach Charlie Spoonhour), the women 13 tournament appearances (Final Four in 1992, 2001). Baseball made the College World Series in 2003.

MSU volleyball earned their 1,000th win in 2006, only the 2nd in NCAA history to reach that milestone.

Alumni include actor John Goodman, basketball superstar Jackie Stiles (the NCAA D-I leading women's scorer), baseball giant Ryan Howard, Senator Roy Blunt, Governor Bob Holden, and Walmart CEO/KC Royals owner David Glass.

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”

"Hardly. Her music is absolute cheeks."

"My boyfriend say LaFlame is cheeks."
"Tell your boyfriend I said it's his mixtape that's cheeks."

Breadhead

Someone who is addicted to obtaining money and building wealth. A money addict and fanatic. Breadheads often work more than one full-time job, and some even participate in illicit activities to "obtain the bread".
A breadhead is like a crackhead, but for money instead of crack.
