Midtagonist 

The "protagonist" of a crime movie, or violent open world video game, such as saints row or gta. The "good guy" of grand theft auto is the protagonist by default, but also commits many outrageous crimes such as murder, therefore putting them in the middle of protagonist, and antagonist.

When a character in any storytelling medium is not very good at fulfilling their role as antagonist or protagonist. Usually a protagonist who always succeeds at their goals with little hardship, but can also be an antagonist who never succeeds.
