A word believed to be coined in Auckland, New Zealand, combining the words "average", and "mat". "Average" denotes something of low or debased standard, while "mat" intensifies it.

When something is just too "meh" to be average. A passable, normal, not even worth it event or occurrence.

This weekend was pretty mehverage, I didn't do anything interesting.

That girl is pretty mehverage, she's rather plain looking.

The movie was mehverage, Vin Diesel just punched guys and ran from cops.
