Metatechnic

Another spelling of a previous term I submitted: “Meta-Technic”.

* The idea that technology has progressed or become “meta” to be what is commonly considered to be technology. A clear example being A.I. and its independent, self directed evolution, regardless of the influence or lack thereof by its creators.

* The idea that due to the ever increasing technological progress in a short time span, ideas of “Modernity” and “Postmodernism” no longer accurately describe the current setting of the world.

* The idea that technological advancement will increase in such complexity that it will be indistinguishable from the biological and organic world in which it takes place.
Dude Google Gemini is so crazy advanced! It’s literally metatechnic!

Metatechnology

(ie. divinotechnology)

Technology so advanced that it's scientifically metaphysical (made of a simulation / spiritual matter) and exists on the metaphysical level (matrix / spirit realm).

(NOTES:

In The Kardashev Scale Theory, the gods are type 5 + beings who use metatechnology to control the laws of nature, beyond humanity's current capacity to comprehend and so humans confused it as magic.

Some examples of metatechnology include portals, matrixes (simulated dimensions) and telepathic stellar networks, (in which the gods can hack mortals' minds). These would also be powered by all the stars in the universe).

Metamechanics

A speculative or philosophical approach examining the foundational principles, assumptions, and limits of classical mechanics (Newtonian physics). It asks: What do concepts like "force," "mass," and "causality" truly mean? Why do Newton's laws work so well, and where do they break down? It’s the "physics of physics" at the macro scale, questioning the rulebook we take for granted before diving into the math. It's the bridge between the practical engineering of mechanics and the deep philosophy of physics.
Example: A physicist pondering whether "force" is a real entity in the world or just a useful mathematical bookkeeping tool for tracking momentum changes is engaging in Metamechanics. They’re not calculating trajectories; they're investigating the ontological baggage of the equations they use every day.

Metatechnologies

Technologies whose primary function is to create, improve, integrate, or govern other technologies. They are tools for the invention pipeline. This includes CAD/CAM software, integrated development environments (IDEs), machine learning models that design new materials, and even project management platforms for R&D teams. Metatechnologies don't directly produce goods; they amplify and accelerate the process of technological innovation itself.
Metatechnologies Example: GitHub is a Metatechnology. It doesn't build software directly; it is a platform for version control, collaboration, and integration that massively accelerates the process of creating software. Similarly, a protein-folding AI like AlphaFold is a metatechnology for biotechnology, as it designs the tools (enzymes, drugs) that will be the next generation of direct technologies.
