Mauxzi, mauxzi is when a person believes that if they can’t live up to their aspirations/expectations it’s better to just die and be forgotten instead of continuing to stain your/someone else’s reputation.
You: “you remember that one kid in our class Jackie.”
Friend: “That one kid who always wanted to be a Doctor?”
You: “Yea that’s the one, I wonder what happened to him.”
Friend: “Didn’t you hear?”
You: “Hear what?”
Friend: “He suicided just last week after failing med-school.”
You: “Christ, another Mauxzi.”
