Mars Space Station

A space station in orbit around Mars, acting as a hub for surface missions, research, and tourism. A Mars space station would be larger and more complex than a lunar station, requiring long‑term life support, radiation shielding, and facilities for crews waiting for surface transfers. Tourists would use the station as a base for orbital sightseeing, watching dust storms and the tiny moons Phobos and Deimos. The station could also serve as a quarantine and health facility for travelers returning from the surface. It’s a critical piece of Mars infrastructure.
Example: “The Mars space station had a rotating section for partial gravity. Tourists exercised there before descending to the surface, to prepare their muscles for the red planet.”
