MAOIs (MonoAmineOxidase-Inhibitors) are drugs that inhibit the enzyme monoamine oxidase. There are two enzymes that break down dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine: Catecholamine-O-Methyl-Transferase (COMT), and MonoAmineOxidase (MAO).
MonoAmineOxidase-Inhibitors are effective antidepressants that make you happy. They help prevent the breakdown of Dopamine, Norepinephrine, and Epinephrine (adrenaline). Dopamine and endorphins are what make you feel happy while the dopamine combined with norepinephrine are what motivates you to do things. I took 20mg of Selegiline (MAOI), 25mg 7,8-Dihydroxyflavone (tropoflavin), 10mg Ritalin, and 3g Kratom and I was happy.
The next day, I took 20mg of Selegiline (MAOI), 50mg Opicapone, 25mg 7,8-Dihydroxyflavone (tropoflavin), 10mg Ritalin, and 3g Kratom and I was superhappy. These MAOIs are great.
