MajandraVision

n.
1. The airing of a television show in a highly preempted fashion.
2. The overuse of "last time on {insert show here}" introductions in a television series.

Etymology: from "Majandra" (actress) + "-vision" (to see or perceive, esp. on TV).

Historical footnote: Majandra is short for Majandra Delfino, an actress known in part for her role as Maria on the TV series Roswell. During its final season on the WB television network (its second of three seasons in total), the series aired sporadically. To keep viewers from being totally lost, each episode for roughly the last half of the season began with a "catch up" segment narrated by Maria.
The way KTVU preempts Stargate for sporting events, it's almost like they're showing it in MajandraVision.
