Limerant

Limerant, as in "Limerant feelings" is the refference to the feeling you get after you've had a crush on someone and move it to the next step. (A.K.A Love)

Jake: Dude I think I'm starting to have some strong feelings for Jane... but I'm not entirely into having her as my gf, Do you get what I'm saying?

Dan: Yeah man, scientists call that Limerant feelings. It's pretty neat if you ask me.

limerance

A floaty, manic, excited, feeling that often arises after meeting or spending time with someone who you are recently attracted to. Also, a fluttering heart, or butterflys in the stomach are symtoms of the feeling. It is similar to infatuation except that it lingers, is usually less lusty and does not have the same negative connotation. Also is usually a temporary state, unlike love. Often thoughts of the person are deep and engaging, resulting in day dreaming. The word was originally founded by a Psychologist in the 1970s

I was lost in Limerance thinking of the girl I had just had a date with.

I was limerant with happiness after finding out I was liked by my crush of 2 years.

The state of being infatuated or obsessed with another person, typically experienced involuntarily and characterized by a strong desire for reciprocation of one's feelings but not primarily for a sexual relationship.

Limerance is a strange concept to understand!

Any long (and usually insulting) screed, meme, or other "correction" offered by a Grammar Nazi.

"Did you see Bob's latest literant? Mixing up 'lose' and 'loose' really sets him off."
"What a looser, haha"

Bob's initial objection to the new project quickly turned into a literant after an autocorrect failure triggered his Grammar Nazi instincts.
