Lead Fever

AKA: Shift Lead Fever

Pronounced: (LEED FEEVUR)
When a shift lead or a coworker on a higher pay scale constantly calls out of work due to their sick time paying well enough to live on with little to no consequences as a result.

Can also be used as a way to say somebody at work is faking being sick.
Josh called out of work for the 5th time this month! Our boss wont punish him because he’s a senior technician and “cant afford to lose him”. Must be Lead Fever.
