The birthplace of modern Australia, so says the sign near the entrance (or has that been destoyed by vandals yet?). Kurnell has a park, an oil refinery, a beach, planes flying overhead and a few shops. The best things it can claim is to be 10 mins from Cronulla and the little known surfer Mark Occhilupo
