Klaudas Day

Klaudas Day is a day celebrated on the 18th of October every year which commemorates and celebrates anyone named Klaudas. This can include buying Lithuanian goods and gifting them to people named Klaudas, as well as tending to call many things seen on the day as Soviet. Cards with pictures of Lithuania, (including the Curonian Spit) are also handed to anyone named Klaudas with a positive message written neatly inside. Klaudas Day also has a remembrance day on the 6th of November each year, where friends gather together and reminisce the beautiful and happy times shared on the Klaudas Day of the previous month (as this is the OG Klaudas’ birthday). This event was started when Joe and John graffitied the whiteboard and door in W10.

(Joe is an individual that orders plain at Nandos and cannot finish the meal due to it being too spicy)
Yoooo! It’s the 18th of October! You know what that means! It’s finally Klaudas Day!

Joe - Whats your favourite time of year? I like Easter a lot tbh but my favourite time of year has to be Christmas.
Vladimir - Are you serious!? My favourite time of year is Klaudas Day! I wait all year just to celebrate it!

- Things that are appropriate to say on Klaudas Day -

“Bro did you see that old school build?? There was some Soviet window tiles round the back where we did our Shelving Practical.”
“Literally look at these yellow bathroom tiles these must date back to 1917”
