Joshed it up

Making a point or argument, defending either right or wrong, even with verifiable facts, until either the other party agrees or death, whichever comes first.
The conversation was great, until he joshed it up.

Joshed it up

"Joshed it up" is what Tyler Joseph (the singer from the band Twenty One Pilots) refers to Josh Dun's (the drummer) playing of the drum set when it pertains to performing live and in recordings for any and all Twenty One Pilots albums... Use at your own risk though because if Tyler hears you saying it to Josh at any point in time within his earshot, he will pop up behind you when you least expect it and clearly let you know that Josh is HIS FREN not YOURS... :P

*Can be used as "Joshing it up" also*
Example of how "Joshed it up" is used in a sentence:

(Josh plays ecstatically on the drums on the album.. TOP fan pauses the music in utter shock)

TOP Fan: "WOW, did you HEAR that?! Tyler's voice on the album sounds SICK, but JOSH's beats are just... WHOA MAN...WOW... and i thought they were great in CONCERT..."

Tyler: "wait until you hear everything... none will be like the other... Except for Josh being on the track JOSHING IT UP !!! He's TOTALLY SICK!!"

TOP Fan: "SICK!!!!"

Tyler: "SICK!!!!!!!!!!"

A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.

Eternity leave

When some resigns or retires from a job, they are on "eternity leave". This can also refer to someone who has passed away, especially someone who worked somewhere for a long time, retired/resigned, then passed away later.
Oh I'm sorry, you didn't know that Kelly is on eternity leave? She resigned and moved to Hawaii!

With regrets I would like to inform you that my boss is officially on eternity leave. I will never see or hear them again. Ever.
