Joke Police

One who determines whether a other person's joke is a joke depending on how offensive the joke is. This is similar to a Schrodinger’s douchebag—one who determines if the joke they made is a joke or not based on the reaction of other; however, the main difference between Joke Police and Schrodinger’s douchebag stems from who is determining if the joke is a joke and the factors of what makes the joke a joke.

Members of the Joke Police Force tend to forget that no topics are excluded under the definition of satire, thus anything can be made into a joke. Even if nothing is excluded from satire, Joke Police still undergo recusatio satyra.

People within the Joke Police Force tend to make whatever cause the were fighting for by refusing the joke look worse than they really are, thus undermining the effect of any attempt to solve whatever they were fighting for. Sometimes this begs the question: "Why are the joke police targeting jokes rather than the actual issues they're fighting for?" To this day, this question has yet to be answered.

The Joke Police can be easily found on various social medias, notably Twitter and past Tumblr.
Person A: "What happens when person walks into a wall?"
Person B: "What?"
A: "Their nose breaks!"
B: *laughs
Person C: "You can't say that! That's offensive to person"
A: "It's a joke."

C: "That's not a joke!"

A: "Ok, Joke Police"

The Joke Police

A recently formed government sector of law and order tasked with monitoring social media for any words considered offensive that current day.

Initially the division was formed with pure intent with the goal to shade people who are shit at comedy so they do not continue pursuing a career in it, but recently there has been an unsanctioned shift in the direction of preventing all comedy because humour is the enemy of progress and cannot be tolerated under any circumstance.

Recent studies have shown that people find the division a waste of tax payers money and want them to be disbanded.

So far there have been no arrests and average sentences result in pointless cancel attempts on twitter which don't work, suggesting that people consider them a joke, which unfortunately means they will have to cancel themselves as no jokes are allowed by their own standards
"Did you hear the joke police tried to cancel Ricky Gervais?"
"lol good luck, they'll be gona long before he is"

Joke Policy

Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke.

Often used for situations where a joke or action has offended people and the offending person just shrugs it off.
When we asked John why he wore a pink suit to his grandpa's funeral, he simply replied "Meh, Joke Policy."

After the Party we asked Tony if he remembered what all he had done. He told us "Even if I did, I wouldn't care. It's all for Joke Policy anyway."
