"In the 4K" is used to describe the act of discussing something in higher detail; "in greater detail".

This phrase's meaning derives from 4K's superior video resolution to the common 1080p.

"Oil is black." In the 4K, "Oil typically refers to the highly viscous fluid composed of long-chain hydrocarbons known as crude oil; crude oil may be refined by fractional distillation into shorter chain hydrocarbons, commonly used to fuel internal combustion engines in vehicles and generators - some short chain hydrocarbons produced by fractional distillation, however, are used to drive gas generation and aviation turbines. Longer chain hydrocarbons have industrial applications too, such as high-compression ship engines and (using the absolute longest hydrocarbons) bitumen-based road pavings/coverings. In order to produce different lengths of hydrocarbon, crude oil is heated to extreme temperatures and cooled within certain heat thresholds, known as fractions. Subsequently, different chain-lengths are formed, resulting in the production of numerous combustion fuels for countless applications."
