I'm like Poncio Pilates 

On the bible there is a passagein Mattew that tells a episode from the Judgement of jesus Christ :
Pilate Washes his Hands
23“Why?” asked Pilate. “What has He done wrong?” But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify Him!” 24When Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but that instead a riot was breaking out, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood, he said. “You shall bear the responsibility.” 25All the people answered, “His blood be on us and on our children!”…

So, in another words as well as pilatos did an said we can see by the context that he was with tied hands ,we can use the name of him to explain that we are with Tied hands too so ,instead of sayin' " i can't do that ",i'm with tied hands "or i'm unable this moment ",we can use another form of sayin' : 'I'm like Poncio pilates ". it is good for those that understand the bible .
