huggressive

Hug + aggressive. Like hangry = hungry + angry. When someone whose love language is affection and they don't have enough hugs in their life, they become moody and prickly, but a good hug will soften and disarm them.

He threw a toy on the playground today, but I think he was just being huggressive because I went over and offered him a hug and I could feel him relax and become more emotionally regulated in my arms. He just needed a hug.
