Hot Corner
A term used in baseball/softball referring to the third base. When a right handed batter (in the right batters box) hits the ball it most often pulls the ball to the left. A hard hit ball can come hard and at top speed, reaction time must be fast. The third base is the base on the left side of the field. The last corner bag before home plate and scoring...or being thrown out! The hot corner.

A southern delicacy that is simple to make, and makes a great addition to any meal. Ingredients include sugar, salt, bacon fat, corn flour, and of course, some hot, boiling-ass water. Grannies and Nannies tend to make the best batches.
Thanksgiving at Granny's house was the shit! She had some of the best hot water cornbread I've eaten all year!
