Someone who understands the african american culture; good and bad... A person who has gained through experience the expert knowledge on the art of their urban setting.

A hoodologist is a person who openly and objectively studies hood or ghetto actions. The hoodologist has his community under microscope and is well informed on the different levels of urbanite actions, communications and social classes in that same community.
