Gynohive
Gynohive (noun)
A group of girls who share a collective, hive-mind approach to attraction or trends. They don’t choose who they like based on personal taste — instead, they all lock onto the same “popular” guy because the group has collectively decided he’s hot. Even if he’s objectively a weirdo or freak, once the gynecentric swarm signals approval, every girl suddenly finds him irresistible. Highlights the inability (or unwillingness) of many women to form independent opinions on male attractiveness and instead follow the social consensus. Once the chosen guy loses popularity or status, the Gynohive quickly dumps him and moves on to the next consensus target.
This collective programming is a leading driver of female hypergamy, as the Gynohive constantly chases the most talked about male in their immediate environment.
The same mob polices any girl who refuses to join: independent thinkers, neurodivergent girls, or those with unique tastes get bullied, gossiped about, and labelled “pick me girl.” Under heavy social pressure from the hive.
Some girls will even cheat on their current partner because of the pressure from the swarm (female friend group).
